PROJECT MANAGER

Description:

We’re looking for detailed individuals with a “can-do” attitude to join Stateline Contractors and Associates Construction team. As a Project Manager, you will use critical thinking to lead, support and monitor construction teams with getting projects done within budget.  Our Project Managers ensure the success of our projects and our Customer’s Experience and that’s why we’re looking for the best of the best. Responsibilities:

  • Review project details and construction work scopes
  • Send job details to subcontractors or team leads
  • Receive and review bids from subcontractors
  • Order and ensure delivery of materials for project
  • Confirm start dates with subcontractors and customers after permit is issued
  • Perform regular site visits to monitor production of all projects in dedicated territories to ensure interim goals are met within budget
  • Delegate tasks to crew and inspect labor to ensure quality work meets inspection requirements
  • Monitor worksite for safety and report workplace accidents and incidents
  • Provide project pictures, files, written and oral status updates communicating progress
  • Determine what materials and/or actions may be needed to complete project
  • Conduct walk-through inspections with customers for project close out
  • Turn in all receipts and subcontractor paperwork each week
  • Update database records

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to use for traveling to multiple locations
  • Working knowledge of construction industry practices (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams
  • Ability to learn multiple construction software systems
  • Verbal communication skills, Bilingual is a HUGE plus
  • Able to lift 50lbs on regular basis
  • Work well with others and be able to receive feedback
  • Must be able to organize, prioritize and stay on top of status and needs of assigned projects
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a drug and background screening
  • Experience preferred, but will train

  • Introduce company services to potential clients through phone and face to face interactions
  • Follow scripts (it is encouraged to use initiative and independent judgment to be successful)
  • Schedule appointments to support sales staff
  • Overcome customer objections with rebuttals
  • Monitor designated social medial platforms to identify possible leads
  • Meet established company goals
  • Attend and participate in company meetings

Requirements:

  • On-time attendance and schedule adherence
  • Ability to work a hybrid daytime schedule of in office and in field
  • Reliable transportation
  • Previous door knocking or telemarketing experience is preferred
  • Verbal communication skills, Bilingual is a HUGE plus
  • Adherence to company policies, procedures, and dress code

You will be expected to build professional relationships with vendors and customers while representing Stateline Contracting & Associates. Job duties will be performed under general direction with extensive latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment.
